This past week has been full of gratitude. I have been taking in every moment with my nephew, even the less peaceful ones. Seeing his joy brings me so much joy and I am so incredibly grateful for that. I’m a day late on posting my 5th week of gratitude, but with a good reason! I’m currently hanging out in Florida to help with taking care of my nephew. Last week was filled with me being busy trying to catch up with life after recovering (read: still recovering) from my surgery and having to get my things to together to hop on a plane to warmer climate (bye, Pittsburgh). Friday was my birthday. The big 2-6. For some reason, the week leading up to my birthday is always full of curve balls. To be honest, I did have a meltdown one day, but I accepted it, felt through the emotions, and then thought about what I can be grateful for in this situation. I hope everyone had a great week! I’m on day 5 of recovering from my surgery on Wednesday. This time off has given me the chance to work on blogging, because I can’t do much else.
