Friday Favorites: DSC, Wet n Wild Eyeliner, & NutriBullet

Welcome to first “Friday Favorites” series post! I can’t wait to share with you my favorite things. I have so many products and other things I want to share with you. Hopefully I can help you discover something you haven’t heard of or tried before.

Friday Favorites

Here’s my first three favorites that I’ve been dying to share with you:

  1. Dollar Shave Club
You’ve probably heard of it and been curious. If you haven’t heard of it before, it a subscription service for shaving razors (and they have other items like shaving cream you can purchase). At first, I was skeptical because it’s marketed towards men. Why was I so scared of a “men-only” product? I have no idea, because shaving razors really aren’t any different for each gender. I finally decided to give it a try because I was tired of spending close to $10 every month or so on really crappy razors. My favorite razors were less than $7 and had probably 6 blades, but unfortunately the store closed (RIP Bottom Dollar 🙁 ), so I put up with the search for the best, affordable razor (read: I’m broke and want to shave my legs without massacring them, thx) for a few months. I finally decided to give DSC a try in August. I. Fell. In. Love. I picked the $6/month option that has four blades per razor. You get four cartridges each shipment and your first shipment comes with a handle. I seriously tried it within a couple hours (probably less) of receiving my first shipment. These razors leave my legs feeling so smooth and I rarely end up nicking myself. I love that I never have to worry about going to the store to get more. They show up every month. At the moment, I have one full package and the boyfriend shares them with me. (I ordered him a handle too :))
  2. Wet n Wild Megalast Retractable Eyeliner
I seriously love this eyeliner and swear by it. I used to only use Covergirl Perfect Point, but I felt that they changed the formula because I was literally getting eyeliner all over my eyelid. It was suddenly too…silky. I found out about Wet n Wild Megalast Retractable Eyeliner on a blog and decided to give it a try. It’s under $5, which is perfect for me. It goes on so smoothly and easily, especially at 7 AM when I barely have a clue what I’m doing. I use the black brown color most of the time. It’s the perfect neutral color for my pale skin and blue eyes. Even the blackest black goes on smoothly. I think you can find it at Ulta!
  3. NutriBullet
Ahh…the NutriBullet. One thing you’ll learn about me by reading this blog, is that I am very passionate about health and healthy, clean eating. I use my NutriBullet almost daily. Even when I was drinking Shakeology, I used it to blend my shakes. My favorite “blast” (aka, shakes/juices/smoothies) to make is half a frozen banana, blueberries (frozen or not), oats, chia seeds, peanut butter, and water. Yum!! I make these almost every morning. I also like to make a Vitamin C packed “blast” whenever I’m feeling under the weather or if I’ve been in close contact with illness (gotta love close working quarters at the office). I’ll be posting that recipe soon.

Believe or not, this post is NOT sponsored at all. I am just really passionate about my favorites!

Do you use any of these? Tell me some of your favorite things this week!

Talk soon!
